Brad Kirkwood has been selected in the medical team as an optometrist for the commonwealth games at the Gold Coast. He is honored to be selected and is looking forward to the providing eye care to athletes and their team officials throughout the games. He will be based in the medical clinic located in the commonwealth games village. The medical clinic will comprise of volunteers from various medical and allied health professionals. With 71 Commonwealth Nations and Territories competing at the games and 23 disciplines being contested, this will be the largest sporting event Queensland will be part of for a long time to come. The games will also feature the inclusion of the para-sport competition.
